Core Mission: Public University Library
The Main Library (HBZ) is the library of the University of Zurich for natural sciences and medicine. |
Specialized departments of the HBZ provide services for the entire UZH. |
The Main Library represents the UZH in regional and national projects and committees. |

The Main Library provides the members of the University, the University Hospital and the Careum Education Center with electronic and printed media. |
The three libraries on the Irchel Campus and Campus Careum serve as learning centers with integral service on site. |
